Aloha!! My first post on my new travel blog, Exploring Kalani!! How exciting. I guess I will just get started with a little blurb about me, how this got started and why.

I am Pili Koko, or Angel O'Kalani Bone. What?? A white chick with a Hawaiian name? Yup. Actually, I am hapa, this is a not fancy word that means that I do have Hawaiian blood in me. I just drank some earlier, bwa hahahahahah.....no, kidding, I was born with it. Just ask my proud to be Hawaiian ohaha (family). I live in the one place where any of that means anything, the glorious, captivating islands of Hawaii. I can not express to you (unless you live here too) how blessed I am to live here. This place is truly magical, I am never leaving, and you can't make me!!

I am starting this blog because I have found myself married to someone who has a job that moves us island to island very frequently. I would tell you what his job was, but then I'd have to drink your blood too (obligatory evil laugh). We moved here, to Oahu from Kauai in October, and will be moving to the Big Island in the spring of next year. We eat out often and I love to explore. I am starting this blog so others can come explore with me! I'd love to share my opinions about restaurants and shopping as well as take you exploring with me on hikes and swimming at beaches. This truly is paradise, you'll love it!!
